Start-ups attract ?80 crore investments at Seeding Kerala summit
In a big boost to the start-up ecosystem in Kerala, investments to the tune of ?80 crore were announced at the 7th edition of the Seeding Kerala Summit organized by the Kerala Start-up Mission. As many as 13 start-ups out of the 30 select enterprises who attended the two-day summit in hybrid mode attracted investments from participating top funds, angel networks and High Networth Individuals (HNIs).
MeitY felicitates winners of microprocessor challenge; participants get financial support
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) felicitated the winners of the ‘Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge- Innovate Solutions for #AatmaNirbhar Bharat’ during Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. Participants get financial support upto Rs 4.40 crore during various stages of the challenge for developing the hardware prototype and incubating a start-up to participating teams, as per the Government release.
IAN Fund backs healthcare startup Astrek Innovations
Astrek Innovations Pvt Ltd, a healthcare startup focused on rehabilitation and assistive robotics, has raised Rs 75 lakh (around $99,000) in a funding round led by IAN Fund, the eponymous fund of Indian Angel Network (IAN).
Astrek Innovation selected to Startup Chile program Seed G22
Astrek Innovations, a startup from Kerela, incubated by Gurgaon based incubator Huddle, and provided acceleration support by HealthStart India has been selected to the Startup Chile program Seed G22 (Generation 22). The startup is creating a lower limb exoskeleton in order to provide assistance to enable paraplegics to walk.

Kerala-based health-tech startup Astrek Innovations has been selected for the Startup Chile programme Seed G22 (Generation 22). The Generation 22 programme portfolio is valued at over $1.4 billion, adding Astrek to a cohort of ventures picked globally.
Astrek Innovations enters Startup Chile Seed G22 Accelerator
Astrek Innovations was selected to join the Seed G22 accelerator batch of Startup Chile and has been approved for grant funding of 25 Million Chilean pesos (USD 40,000 approx) as part of the acceleration.
